Sitting, waiting, wishing

A day in the mountains today.
We ended up spending a little while sitting here, waiting, doing our best to appreciate the spot and that there's much worse places to wait and wonder. It's kinda hard when something potentialy exciting comes at the cost of someone not having a very good day. 
All's turned out well at the end of a very long day.
