Backblip

My sister and I drove way out to Walupt Lake, near Mt. Adams to do an overnighter backpack.  This is Sheep Lake where we spent the night. 

It's a beautiful spot to say the least and we did not have it to ourselves. There were 2 families there with children under 12-ish, and they were  having the time of their lives, swimming in the lake, looking for frogs, playing on the banks, etc. 

The hike up to this lake was a bit of grind but only about 5 miles. It's at about 5700 feet elevation. I'm happy to say I am getting more used to the altitude. Bugs were about a 7 on a 1-10 scale where 10 is worst.
