Too hot already...

...it is 10:30 am. My garden thermometer in the shade is already 26.3 C and is rising rapidly. I am already wiped out with this heat. It is like breathing in warm air and that makes it hard to breathe.

The cold fan doesn’t help. I am going to rig up a wet towel on a clothes maiden with a bowl underneath for the drips and place this in front of the upright fan and see if that might work to cool the air in my bedroom.

Popeye is in the front garden. That is much cooler because it is totally overgrown, the sun can not reach the ground. It is full of birds cooling off...and Popeye...but Popeye is not hunting...he is lying on the cool ground sleeping...

In the few minutes it has taken me to write this outside in the shade in the back garden is now 27.1 C and still rising...
