Fighting flamingos

This week I have been advised by the physio and the nurse to try a longer drive so we decided to go to Slimbridge as it is a similar distance as I drive to work.  It was not too bad.

Mr T kindly loaned me his camera which was just as well as even his was a bit painful to hold so mine would have been too much.

We had a nice coffee and cake, wandered down to the canoe safari kiosk and had some lunch and chilled out.  The goslings were unphased by the giant lego kingfisher but their parents were a bit more wary - see extra.

Then a quick look in the shop and a steady drive home and rested the shoulder, a bit sore but not too bad.
