River Kennet

We were looking after the grandchildren as my daughter was working. We had a plan to take them into town and do lots of activities but it was change of plan. As Granddaughter N has got chickenpox so we stayed at home. They painted pictures for their mum and dad played in the padding pool But then N was getting tried so we took her out in the buggy to have a sleep. So we walked along the Kennet we got to a bridge were there was the Holybrook joins the Kennet so we started dropping leaves and waiting for them to come out the other side. I can say N didn’t sleep. K said we are playing pooh leaves not pooh stick grandma. We all laughed. The girls had a great time. Plus it was in the shade and nobody else around.

After a busy day with the grandchildren we sat in the garden having nice glass of white wine. See extra
