Red moon

After a short walk out of our village, I could see the red moon and, as a very small light in a corner, Mars. The photos didn't turn out the way photos of such a beautiful natural phenomenon should be. Later, I tried again. This time out of the skylight. The moon could be seen above the hill. When I browsed through the photos, I saw this one. Something obviously went wrong here.
This blip is taken yesterday, but this morning I got a photo from Australia because my cousin did not see this moon until this morning.

It is special that, wherever my family is in the world, I get photos of the same red moon.
