Himalayan balsam harvest beginning

I know it's technically an undesirable invasive species but, honestly, it's the most useful undesirable invasive species in these parts.

Not only is it the mainstay of our honey production in the grim North, it's also a source of delicious, nutritious seeds which I have been eating in my muesli this week. Also good in curry. Nutty flavour.
