Dance in the Old-fashioned Way

Pateley Bridge is hosting its annual 1940s weekend. My friends couldn't resist the opportunity to dance to the lovely music like everyone else. Except me: well, somebody has to Blip.

I met a former colleague whom I hadn't seen since she retired. It was wonderful to see her again. I introduced her to my dancing friends and they got along splendidly.

And it rained at just the right time.

All in all, a rather splendid day.
