The Old Lady

Today I was up in London for work. so I had to put shoes and socks on as well as long trousers and a shirt. Since I mostly work from home and it's been awfully warm of late today made quite a change.

I arrived early in London, and after spending some quality time in a tin can underground with a lot of other people I arrived in the City with a bit of time to spare so I wandered around. This is the Old Lady of Threadneedle Street, or the Bank of England, and the extra is a statue on one of the walls round the back.

Work wasn't as productive as I would have liked but we got somethings done and I made it home okay avoiding the problems on the rail network. Tomorrow I'll be back in shorts and a T-shirt and I'll have a shorter commute!
