New Boiler

There's been a lot of flourishing of copper piping and blowtorches about the house today. We're changing from a back-boiler (at 25 years old it is past its expected lifespan) to this one, which is being installed in the attic.

I have my misgivings about it being out of sight among all the valuable artefacts clutter stored up there but am assured that no naked flame or excess heat will escape and it has a new chimney all to itself.

In the light of proposed fuel price increases this may be a timely investment.
