Green again

The Slad brook after rainfall. It's dark down by the bridge, so the area hasn't become as parched as most other places. I blipped this scene before, on 19th July, when we were still in drought conditions.

Rain's been falling on on and off, most of the night and today. I walked to town, enjoying the cool, though we still haven't had a really good drenching. Most of the day I've been reading, or listening to the radio. It feels good to be having a much-needed rest.
