Taken me over a week to catch up with these!
All packed up and locked the door just before 10 of our holiday home. It’s been a good week here and we’ve loved the plenty space and being at the edge of two forests for ease of cycle routes.

However, we weren’t quite ready to bid farewell to Boat of Garten! The Cafe opened at 10 and we were first customer. Had my last freshly made out of the oven scone and flat white. Then as there was Steam Gala Day on at the station we were first there to see some of the trains there.

It’s a fabulous wee station so well looked after.

The drive back down the A9 was slower than the drive up but there were no hold ups and no manic drivers trying to overtake. I think the average speed cameras have been a good shout, although I don’t think every car driver knows the speed limit, I think when they see the lorry request for 50 they do the same for themselves.

Home around 2pm and again, had such a fabulous week with the boys. Love taking them away with us and doing all the outdoor stuff and all the chat and fun involved. They are good boys and no bother at all. We both look forward The this summer holiday every year. This is our fourth time in this area and there is so much to do. Scotland is beautiful and we can go places where there is no one else there with so much natural beauty.

And with hardly any wi fi to speak off we played loads of games.
