Flowerbuds

We have had a considerable amount of rain since 5am this morning.........it turned more showery and has more or less dried up now.
I think I can hear the garden sighing with relief ;-) I woke up cold feet, under just a sheet, think I might put the light quilt back on tonight ;-)
Having said that, we slept really well, as it was cool, eventually getting up around 10.30!!!!

We had a walk inbetween showers, then had a late brunch, fried tomatoes on toast :-). Made use of the cooller temperatures, got rid of the ironing, did some housework, blanched and froze some more runner beans too.

Not felt great today, dont know whether its the weather, really heady :-/ Just a quick garden blip of the white agapanthus that are opening, happy with the rain I think. Not the best picture Ive ever taken :-/

We are having asian salmon, stir fried vegetables and noodles for dinner this evneing.....still heavy somdont feel like full blown meals.
