2018 Sunday — View with a Room
We’ve been told we have a room with a view. I kind of think of it as a “View with a Room.” That’s because we have so much more view than we have room. I’m not complaining. It just feels like I have a lot of stuff that I’m not sure where to store things — in this room with so little square footage.
I have several plastic tubs filled with stuff under our bed and the bed has added room under it because I purchased online some half-high cones (3 inches high) that the bed legs sit in. It makes it a little tougher to get into bed because it is higher, but an oh-so-nice additional storage place under the bed.
When the clouds evaporated today and left a clear blue sky exposed, we wanted to put on our dancing shoes and party! Because the temperature Inland is so HOT and the ocean is so cold, the two tempts collide into a fog. It’s been a very hot summer Inland, so we’ve experienced lots of fog. That’s okay — I’d rather have fog than 110 degrees F, which is what our neighborhood in SoCal is living with every day.
So late in the afternoon we drove to the city south of us — Morro Bay — to walk the pups in Tidelands Park. The sun was shining there too.
This is the 29th; so we’ve celebrated although out our day.
