Mo's new best friend

Mo, Andy, George and I arrive at Futuroscope around lunchtime, and enjoy a meal that’s much better than you’d expect at a theme park. Mo is especially delighted to make a new friend. 

They’ve added quite a lot of new things since we were last here, including an Ice Age 4D experience, the Aerobar where you have a drink at a height of 35m, and VR machines. It’s all going well until Andy’s waiting for a go on the “sky dive” contraption, and the heavens open. 

Even when the rain stops, the rides remain closed. Andy and George are gutted that they don’t get to go on the Velodos and the water-fight boat ride, which is a shame. 

The drive home through a lightning storm is both spectacular and a bit hair-raising.
