Sunflower

L and I had coffee this morning with our brother ... something we don't do often enough. David is still working so doesn't have the same amount of free time that L and I enjoy.

Walking home from the supermarket this afternoon I spotted this sunflower growing just beside a front garden gate .... an unusual sight in a Burnside garden.  The recent spell of windy weather had battered the plant a bit and the head was beginning to droop .... a little support might have helped.
