Water Lily

I'm so glad that I went out for a walk this morning ..... it was without a doubt the best part of the day.

Food shopping first then it was over to Rouken Glen Park for a walk. The Auldhouse Burn was a great paddling pool for some of the many dogs who just wanted to cool off.  

There were a number of pink water lilies in the pond but the copious amount of green algae/weed/slime spoiled things just a bit.  

The extra photo reminded me a bit of Claude Monet's 'WaterLilies'
