Bon Voyage!

We had an early start this morning as I had to get Mum to the airport for 8am for her flight back to Manchester.

Fortunately she was flying from Charleroi Brussels South and not the main airport at Zaventem, as there was traffic chaos going into the Brussels and the motorways were at a standstill. I can get to Charleroi without having to go on the motorway, so although it was busy we arrived in plenty of time.

It's been lovely having her with us and although I've been ill she's really enjoyed it. It's four months today since Dad died and she's doing really well, and keeping herself busy. So much so, that tomorrow she's going away again to stay with my cousin in Luton for a few days, and they're going to London on Saturday to see Les Miserables.

It won't be long until we see her again as she's flying back here on 20th December and we're all going to the Alsace region of France for Christmas, so something else to look forward to!

Anyway, I'm back in work today, so whilst I was early, I called at the supermarket and did my food shopping so now I'd better get ready. It'll be a long day I think - I'm better than I've been but I'm still not 100% and I'm already tired and the day hasn't begun....
