Fat Duck

A couple of us were invited to a mutual friend's house for lunch today, and as she lives near Chateau La Hulpe we decided to go for a walk round the lake before lunch.

It's been a beautiful sunny day, and as I didn't have Louis with me I could spend some time photographing the ducks. Something I can't usually do as he always wants to chase them!

They were all busy preening themselves in the sunshine, so unfortunately it took some time to get some clear shots of their faces, but it was worth the wait. I love this one as he's nicely lit by the sun and he looks like he's posing for the camera - it's worth taking a closer look.

When we got to Anthea's she'd done a lovely salad with king prawns, cream cheese & a sweet chilli sauce, followed by her own homemade sticky toffee ice cream cupcakes - it was absolutely delicious!

Later I had to go back to the doctors as I'm still not getting better, and last night I was up coughing for nearly an hour again - anyway, I've now got some strong antibiotics, so fingers crossed they do the the trick!
