Muuuuum

Baby Moorhen on the Newport Canal calling its mum.  I went to Newport this morning to ask the lovely owner of the Craft Shop there for crochet advice on how to finish 'Winston' the Aadvark's nose as the instructions in the pattern weren't clear and  after a great tutorial from M I'm now able to complete 'Winston' the Advark's nose and have only 3 and half legs to go to finish him.

After so much concentration I purchased a sandwich from Waitrose and sat on a bench by the canal, fed the two Swans and their 6 cygnets some corn and was entertained by the ducks and the Moorhen family.

I think the 'passer by' in extra was also interested in the Swans' corn!
