Beached!

On the last day of our daughter's visit, the sun shone long enough for us to return to the beach. Strong winds made the sea too choppy for a swim, though we did get as wet as if we had swum, deep paddling! As each wave receded it chucked big pebbles against our ankles - quite sharp!

We explored the rock pools and had a nice read, even if the sun did keep hiding behind clouds. They may have been fair weather cumulus, but there was quite a wind chill each time they blocked out the sun.
