From the garden

Another evening where I spent an enjoyable few hours pottering in the garden after work. I've not had any flowers in the house for months, so I picked these and put them in one of Mum's vases. All very therapeutic and a much welcome antidote to a day spent in my office.

Today felt quite calm despite being busy. I think that may be because I managed a 25 minute walk in the woods before starting work and a 30 minute walk at lunchtime. I also drank lots of sweet scented chamomile tea during the day. I am trying to use a little mindful routine were I focus on properly brewing the tea, pouring it carefully and then savour drinking it from a nice cup. I think all these things put together are helping me to feel more relaxed. My morning and evening routines are also really helping.
