Fields of Gold

I read on one of the local Facebook groups that there had been a field fire near where I often take photographs.  After someone had pulled the duvet off me and then lay on it at 4:30 am, I was awake and able to head out in time for sunrise and this is what I came across on the edge of the field.

I also walked along the hedge line and in the extra you can see the damage that was caused.
