Pink Water Lily

A ferry trip from Largs to Millport .... Eileen and I were going to visit her cousins who have a holiday home there.

Millport is the only town on the island of Great Cumbrae and with around 1000 bicycles for hire the island is often referred to as 'Sotland's Bicycle Island'. I rather liked the look of the 'emotos', wee electric mopeds .... next time perhaps!

The water lily was growing in one of the ponds in formal garden just outside Garrison House'
