Summer supper

Yes! The deliciously long and warm summer days (and evenings) are back! Yes! Such a beautifully warm day today. Had a mooch around Shrewsbury not looking at the clock, not rushing back from my lunch break. 

Andrew and Sue have just moved house, from Cartwright Close to The Furlongs, approximately 500 metres away. They're still living amidst the chaos of boxes and so they came round, with Grace, to Number 19 tonight. One of the best things about living here is a little bit more space to host, especially on nights like this when the hosting can be done in the garden. I don't think I'll ever stop being grateful for this house. And if I do, feel free to poke me.

Good food, good wine, good company.
