She's back!

Two weeks ago, when our daughter and her family were visiting from Arizona, I was hoping for a visit from the pileated woodpecker, a big bird they don't see in Arizona. No luck! The pileated pair hadn't shown up at the backyard buffet for weeks, and I was beginning to think they had found a better place to eat. This morning, as I was working around the house, I heard the call that announces their arrival. This picture and the two "extras" are proof that they haven't moved out of the neighborhood. A happy day!
