Blown fuse

Actually it didn't blow, with modern domestic distribution boxes, it's very unlikely that a fuse will blow. I've been replacing more plus on appliances, taking off the UK plug and putting on a French one. Some have moulded plugs, which I have no option but to cut off. To make them even safer I remove the fuse in case anyone is stupid enough to try plugging one into a socket, therefore exposing live wiring...
