Fat birds don't fly

I don't think this applies to our fat wood pigeon!
Inspite of his size, he flies very well!

The title is from the name of a cycle shop in Hunstanton, Norfolk. It always makes us laugh when we pass!

A quick blip tonight, as we have been to see our eldest son, who's birthday it is today.Happy birthday Mr A.C.! How time flies!

A trip to Leeds as my camera has broken. No, not the new one, but my little Lumix TZ8. Was fine on Sunday for most of the walk , but then decided not to focus, and then it wouldn't close. Just comes up with "systems error - focus"
If I turn it of it stays open, then switch to on, and it closes, but immediately reopens. Still not letting me take any photos. Have changed the battery, memory card, no luck. Jessops charge £25 to send it back to Panasonic, and they said no repair has come back under £80! (Of course it is just out of guarantee!)

However a gentleman I got talking to at the bus station, on the way home,told me of a shop in Halifax that was very good for repairs, so it's off to Halifax tomorrow!

I do like my new camera, but this is so handy to carry in my handbag, and especially useful when we are out with the walking group.

So fingers crossed they can mend it ( and for a bit less than £80!)
