Bun dance...
... A gentleman's excooose me?
The butterflies are out in abundance today.
(Maybe this is a bun dance?).
It has been a fab day to be out with a camera.
(Less fab to be out carrying some heavy shopping home.
But it's all part of life's rich tapestry).
Our telephones bit the dust a few days ago. (Telephones never used to die, did they?). Himself has spent the greater part of a (fairly frustrating) day adding all our old numbers to the 'in-phone' directory on the new ones.
On the bright side, who knew we had so many contacts? :-)
I was going to go back to my family history research today.
I don't have quite the same zest for it, since uncovering a very sad suicide. (Is there any other kind?). I really think I'm going to have to go on a grave hunt and lay some flowers before I go any further.
Or something?
Our dear ancestors are somehow part of who we are; part of us.
Our blood.
Other thoughts... Wasn't Sam Lee utterly butterly spine-tingly fab at the Folk Proms last night?
