I had a little bit of worry over The Mother phoning to say she wasn't well but by the time I got dressed and over to her house she was dressed and putting make-up on ready to go to town with me! Panic over.

A good day in the shop, we've got a sale on at the moment and although it got off to a slow start we were kept really busy today. J worked hard with the customers while I had to do some office work with help from The Mother. I really don't like bookwork but she was a clerk all her working life and likes to help.

In other news, Chippy phoned to say we'd gained a commission to print 150 Christmas Cards for a Cumbrian business using two of our images. Of course this served to remind me that I still haven't got a shot for my own cards yet. If I get desperate I've threatened to 'shop some holly onto the branch with my kingfisher!
