Something nice to go shopping for today: a new toaster!

Not for me, personally, for the holiday lodge. The old one was still working but, with bits of trim broken and the brightness gone from the interior, it was time for a new one. When people pay their hard-earned money to have a nice holiday, they don't want to be using shabby equipment worse than they would have had at home!

I enjoyed looking around and making a choice, one quite different from the previous one, a cream and chrome model. What really delighted me was taking it out to the lodge and finding it exactly matched the glossy cream wall-tiles.

A good choice and the old one has a good home too!
