Portaferry

First time with the boat in Portaferry. Not our first time in the town, though, as the Ards Man's granny used to live here and one of our favourite Sunday drives was to her home.

We tried to get in to Strangford initially but there was no room on the pontoon there. Portaferry is definitely bigger with a lovely wee marina but the tide flows through at a great rate of knots so we weren't sure about coming in! In the end there was plenty of help and three people stepped up to take our ropes - I was very grateful!

Now we're off to check out the town and find out what has changed in the decade or so since we were last here. Hope you're having a pleasant Sunday :)
