Owl be seeing you

I made a resolution this year to try and catch up with old friends who I haven't seen for a while. I am the worlds worst for keeping in touch with folk and when I leave a place I rarely go back. I'm a moving forward kind of person. Today though I journeyed back to where I used to live on the west coast to visit my friends Terry and Jo. Our children were all pre school when I lived there, now they are mostly at university! It was lovely to catch up and even though we hadn't seen each other for years it was as if we'd never been apart. Caught up on a lot of the local gossip too - well, you have to.
I was planning on taking a photo of Connel Bridge from the layby on the way home but there was a caravan behind me and anyone who has driven that road knows that if you stop and get overtaken by a caravan you can be stuck behind it for a very long time. Instead this is part of the outside of St Conans church - quirky little place apparently built by a son for his mother. The extra is a rabbit drain pipe.
