Autumn in stitches

Before old age and arthritis set in I used to do a lot of cross-stitch embroidery and thoroughly enjoyed it too. One of the projects I undertook was embroidering the four seasons.

This is autumn... full of reds, oranges and browns as you would expect and depicting the flowers and vegetables you might expect to find in the garden at this time of year. As the year progresses I'll try and remember to reveal the other seasons as they occur.
