Since I retired I have returned to reading with a vengeance, setting myself a 100 book target on ‘Goodreads’, pulling all the unread books from the coffee table and various other places around the house.
I’m not the only one, Clare is rarely without her Kindle and Sam is currently reading Van Gogh’s biography, Josh, well for the next year or so it will be text books I guess.
My grandparents and parents read to me when I was young, I read to my children and they read to their children.
I have even renewed my long forgotten library card to access more of the obscure titles on my reading list.

Just have to remind myself not to sit up quite so late reading!
