Trapped!
We popped in to see my parents this afternoon and, while we were there, N noticed something was stuck inside one of their bird feeders. A starling had got stuck upside down and head first into the bird seed.
After a bit of a struggle (by the bird), my dad set it free unharmed. Phew! The feeder was a write off though.
In other news I went up to the Royal Marsden Hospital this morning for my regular checkup appointment. All seems to be well and it is assumed I am still cancer free after 23 years... but a key blood test for a cancer marker was missed off when I went up a couple of weeks ago. So I had that blood test done today and await the results.
I felt it worth mentioning this strange Burning Tongue Syndrome that I have recently been diagnosed with... they consider it to be unrelated.
