Borrowed...!

Luce has over the past few months started barking when left alone. So I was luckily able to borrow a home security camera (with communication ability) which in theory notify me when she starts and I can then remotely tell her to be quiet! I wonder if it will work or as is more likely can I understand it to he able to work it.
