Liberated.....!

Gail has been set free from her body brace! A real answer to our prayers!

The visit yesterday to Stanmore for the results of the scan taken two weeks ago showed the holes in her spine and neck bones had muchly reduced so the infusion given over the last four months has had real success. Her consultant was "pleasantly surprised by the amount of bone regeneration" and told Gail that she may gradually increase the hours of NOT wearing the brace and that by the weekend, she can leave it off altogether. Wonderful! Just one more course of this lot of chemotherapy before a longer break. In October, the heavy stuff starts......but for now we are delighted with this news. The infusion has been for her bones, the chemo for her blood.

After today's chemo, we went to Botley Farm for a celebratory cup of tea and a shortcake biscuit! It was even cool there with the threat of rain in the clouds. So far little has shown itself.....
