A 'Room and Kitchen,' caur

This tram was so called because one half of it had wooden benches, and the other half, comfy seats. A 'caur' is a Glasgow tram. I saw a few of them on Sunday at Glasgow's Riverside Museum, which celebrates the days before chicken tikka masala was invented. It was a simpler time. 'C'mon, get aff!' said the conductress.
