Temperance.....

Today me & Mrs. MD had a quite wonderful experience.  We visited Mr. Fitzpatrick's Temperance Bar in Rawtenstall.  Established in 1899 it is Britain's last original Temperance Bar. Very small, very busy and with the most friendly and helpful staff you could imagine.
I am very much a 'savoury food' person, but today I had a couple of real treats.  My extra shows the Menu along with a happy smiling young lady behind the bar. It also shows two Dandelion & Burdock Ice Floats, and two Belgian Waffles - one with Strawberries and Cream (mine) and one with Banana and Nutella (Mrs. MD's).
The Bar is opposite Asda and if you are anywhere near Rawtenstall - give yourself a treat - you will not regret it :-)
