Manche to the Med day 4

Chateaux day for day 4 -i thought it would kill me getting Mr PB off the bike and sight seeing. But I have to say he was dead keen. Also  we are in the Loire so it would msd not to. . 54 miles south to Vendôme, which is where this is taken. St the Chateau which was a real ramp up to it. Then Blois with it's beautiful Royal chateaux. The road was quite busy and got narrower, so Mr PB re routed us through little lanes which added a few miles. Blois was so pretty, witj narrow streets and lovely shops. The Chateau was interesting and quite prominent in French history. We slogged on to Cheverny for another stunning chateaux, this one inspired Marlinspike Hall in Tintin. Much cooler today,  just in the high 20's. We arrived late to the campsite but it has a pool and a bar so all is good. Sight seeing is very tiring. It might rain tomorrow but it will still be warm.
