From a distance
It would be wrong to come to Sydney for a couple of weeks and not go on a ferry. Accordingly, I worked at home today and we took a few hours off in the middle of the day to get the ferry to Watson's Bay. We were underwhelmed by Watson's Bay itself, where a cafe we wanted to visit was closed (?!?), and the other (touristy) cafes were swamped, but the ferry journey from Circular Quay was brilliant.
We got the bus back to Kings Cross (very, very slow) and then went for lunch at the Silly Tart, another excellent local eatery. Before we leave on Saturday, I should note down our "successes" in the locality in the book the host of the accommodation keeps for such matters. Working / reading this afternoon.
