And then it broke

A friend asked me to rekindle my (very limited) pyrography skills. I don't think I can do it but I'll give it a shot.

Have to start with a smooth surface. The sander started making smoke. Thought I'd leave it a few minutes to cool down. On the next try, I saw bits coming out it and when the funny noise started, I decided it was time to quit and get a new one. There are things rattling inside it, so it's definitely going in the bin!
