What a beaut!
Crow Point in the early afternoon sun today.
Two days ago I was thinking I simply couldn't cope with yet another day of rain so it was a huge relief to see so much lovely blue today.
Along the boardwalk to the beach we met a man on a mobility scooter who very good-naturedly pointed out the rather dangerous state of the boards as he took an inconvenient detour across the sand. We met him again as we walked back to the carpark. He was picking up rubbish from the beach and loading it onto his scooter to take away. I felt rather lame walking away empty-handed.
He said he often picks up rubbish from Saunton beach. Saunton beach is MASSIVE!
As we left the dunes I spotted a kestrel hovering and took a couple of photos, which are here, with a couple of moorhens and a couple of other shots: 14 Nov 2012
Sun... mmmm... Hopefully made a bit of vitamin D today
Oh, and we had the chimney swept today.
Might be useful to have that recorded here for next year
