Rain didn't stop play

Hooray, we have rain at last!!  Unfortunately it came when we were half way through bowling which caused a premature end to our matches. Most of the group retired to the shelter but these two ladies who have just started bowling were so full of enthusiasm that they didn't mind getting soaked and carried on. Eventually the rain defeated them and we packed up and went home.  Rain 1 - Bowlers - 0.

There has just been more heavy rain, thunder and hail so the drought has ended in a spectacular fashion but we're all grateful to see the ground getting a good soaking at last!
