Grazing in the midday sun
I am not adverse to a long hot summer, and like these cattle I spied today, they were happy to make the most of the weather, quietly grazing in the sun.
Well, I was not exactly grazing along with them, but similarly making the most of our summer while I can.
At least we will all take advantage of shady spots when the overhead sun becomes overpowering.
Much like these cattle, and groups of horses and even sheep I have come across in the past few days. While they often stay together in groups, handy trees and hedgerows do provide shade which they eagerly take advantage of.
Mind you, let’s not wish the summer away.
