Setting sun.....

No photos taken at all today...then we noticed the sunset from the upstairs windows....blip sorted! It was amazing! Possibly the result of the huge contrasts of sunshine and showers during the day.

Today our friend from Dubai has come to stay for a few days! Nice! My big sister joined us for a hot chocolate  drink in West Wickham, during which there was torrential rain and lightning and a very loud clap of thunder! 

Such a change in the weather these last days. The lawn is definitely looking greener, the dahlias are beginning to bloom and my tubs of flowers have loved the rain from heaven and are flourishing. My olive tree has survived its re potting and has even more new green leaves. I would like it to be a few degrees warmer though.....
