speckled saturday

Some stormy skies and heavy rain last night has led to a lovely sunny , warm day - so far - today which has been lovely! The plan was to do some light pruning of plants in the garden.... 6 bags of green waste later there's still lots to be done! Saving that for another day!

Nice to see this speckled wood butterfly enjoying the sunshine and various plants today! Been a while since i've spotted one in the garden and thankfully he seemed happy to pose!
