Flower Friday at the abbey

Thankfully a dry morning meant we could sneak in a visit to the lovely gardens at Beeleigh Abbey near Maldon on one of their open days! I love this place and keep trying to work out ways to get the family who live here to adopt me! And even the drought hasn't stopped them having a stripey lawn, albeit a yellow one!

Nothing but rain this afternoon though! Water butts are now refilled and overflowing!!
