Services

It's been a day of two services! Coney Hill Baptist church in the morning where I got to meet some of SweetArt's friends from when she lived here, and then this one - West Wickham and Shirley Baptist Church for their evening service. They had special guest speakers talking about things happening on the Korean Peninsula, so we went to hear about it.

I loved the flags and banners, and in general, the simplicity of the service (only a keyboard - no band!). It was amazing how the two services - totally independent of each other - tied up with each other. Messages and songs. There you go.

In between, I was treated to a homemade Sunday lunch. Eileen's sister Brenda joined us and it's her church that we went to in the evening. We all had a much needed post-lunch snooze. Too much good food! And if all that wasn't enough, Eileen's younger sister was in the area, so we went over to say "hello" to her!
